LegalEase provides self-help tools, general legal information, document support, workflow guidance, technology tools, and AI-assisted assistance.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Using LegalEase, creating an account, answering intake questions, uploading documents, chatting with Wilma, receiving outputs, contacting support, or purchasing a service does not create an attorney-client relationship with LegalEase or anyone affiliated with LegalEase.
Communications with LegalEase are not protected by attorney-client privilege unless you separately communicate with a licensed attorney under a separate attorney-client agreement.
3. No Legal Advice
Information provided by LegalEase is for general informational and self-help purposes only. It is not legal advice and should not be relied on as legal advice.
LegalEase cannot evaluate every fact, deadline, exception, risk, court practice, judge preference, prosecutor position, agency policy, or legal consequence that may apply to your situation.
You should consult a licensed attorney if you need legal advice.
4. No Guaranteed Eligibility or Outcome
LegalEase does not guarantee that you are eligible for expungement, sealing, record clearing, divorce, claims support, background-check correction, or any other legal outcome.
LegalEase does not guarantee that a court, clerk, judge, prosecutor, agency, employer, landlord, background-check company, licensing body, or other third party will accept, approve, process, honor, or rely on any document, packet, request, or output.
5. Court and Government Decisions Are Independent
Courts, agencies, clerks, judges, prosecutors, law-enforcement agencies, background-check companies, employers, landlords, licensing boards, and other third parties operate independently from LegalEase.
LegalEase cannot control their records, timelines, decisions, fees, procedures, or outcomes.

Any references to courts, agencies, laws, forms, or public records are for informational or workflow purposes only.
7. No Filing Unless Expressly Stated
LegalEase generally helps users understand options and prepare self-help materials. LegalEase does not file court documents, serve parties, appear in court, pay filing fees, monitor court deadlines, or communicate with courts on your behalf unless a specific product or written agreement expressly says otherwise.
You are responsible for filing, signatures, notarization, mailing, service, fees, follow-up, hearings, and deadlines.
8. Deadlines and Urgent Legal Matters
Do not rely on LegalEase for urgent legal deadlines, active criminal defense, immigration consequences, protective orders, warrants, pending hearings, appeals, eviction deadlines, custody emergencies, or other time-sensitive legal matters.
If you face an urgent legal issue, contact a licensed attorney, court, public defender, legal-aid organization, or appropriate professional immediately.
9. AI and Wilma Disclaimer
Wilma and other LegalEase AI-assisted tools may help explain information, guide users through workflows, summarize inputs, generate draft language, and provide general self-help support.
AI outputs may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or not suitable for your situation. AI outputs are not legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated or AI-assisted output before using it.
10. Information May Change
Legal rules, forms, fees, court procedures, agency policies, eligibility standards, and filing requirements can change at any time. LegalEase works to keep information useful, but we cannot guarantee that every item is complete, current, or applicable to your situation.
11. Public Records May Be Incomplete or Inaccurate
